Vancouver 2010 Olympics Video – Nike Athletes

Every now and I again I get to work on a pretty cool video shoot, for a pretty high profile client, at some pretty cool locations – last October I was fortunate enough to get the call from Stack Media to work with Nike on the launch of their Spring 2010 Women’s clothing line. Nike gathered journalists from all over the US and brought them to Vancouver, home of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, to meet with Nike product specialists, Nike sponsored US Olympic athletes, and tour some of the brand new Olympic venues. This being the media launch for the women’s line, I was one of only two male camera operators at the event, the only male journalist, and the only Canadian. On top of that, because the Stack media journalist with whom I was originally going to be working with could not get a passport on time, I was acting as both camera operator and journalist on this high profile gig.

Nike treated us to a first class time! We stayed at the beautiful Loden hotel – Vancouver’s finest boutique hotel – ate at the finest establishments, and went home with a lot of free Nike swag from their 2010 line. And even though this was a women’s event, Nike even made sure to get me some men’s clothing. Nice touch, Nike!

Below are a few of the videos I shot with the Nike sponsored US Olympians. You can see the all of them on the Stack TV site with this video link.

Here is 3 time Alpine Skiing Olympic Medal winner, Julia Mancuso, on Athletic Maturity.
