Adobe CS5 review in EventDV Magazine

How fast is the new Adobe Premiere Pro CS5? I benchmarked Premiere Pro CS4 and CS5 on two of my editing systems and published my results in the October edition of EventDV Magazine. Without any hardware upgrades, CS5 was faster than CS4, thanks to the new Mercury Playback Engine. And when GPU acceleration was enabled with a supported NVIDIA CUDA card, the exporting of timelines with effects or multiple layers was faster.
